Valley Theatre Company (VTC) invites audiences to step back in time with Cabernet Cabaret: Back in Time — The Great American Songbook, a celebration of beloved musical classics and jazz standards from the 1920s through the 1950s. Featuring songs such as “Mack the Knife,” “Luck Be a Lady,” “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’,” “I Cain’t Say No,” “Fever,” “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend,” and many more, this annual fan-favorite event promises a weekend of music, laughter, and theatrical entertainment.

An Evening of Entertainment and Support

The weekend begins with VTC’s annual Gala and Dinner Theatre performance on Friday, October 23, offering guests an evening of live entertainment, a mouthwatering dinner, complimentary wine or non-alcoholic beverages, and opportunities to support the future of community theatre in the Kittitas Valley.

The Friday gala features a silent auction, a delectable Dessert Dash, and Raise the Paddle opportunities, providing guests with multiple ways to support Valley Theatre Company’s 2026–2027 season and its vision for a potential new VTC Stage Craft Studio.

After 28 years of creating theatre throughout the community, VTC is exploring the possibility of securing its first permanent home. The proposed Stage Craft Studio would provide space for set, costume, and prop construction, rehearsals, storage, and other creative activities. This new facility would represent an important step forward for the company’s future, and gala attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about this exciting vision while supporting its development.

Saturday and Sunday show-only performances will also feature raffle opportunities, allowing all attendees to join in the fundraising fun.

With just four performances and approximately 90 seats available per show, audiences are encouraged to purchase tickets early. VTC’s Cabernet Cabaret has sold out for five consecutive years, making this one of the company’s most anticipated events of the season.
